Everyday habits

Rearrange habits, not the building. Sleep, cook, and sit facing light and a solid wall. The rooms you already have will do more than a kit.

Twenty things that do not need a cart

  1. 01

A solid headboard. Your head should meet a wall, not air.

  2. 02

Head south or east if the room allows it.

  3. 03

Sleep in the quietest room you have, not the one with the street and the stack.

  4. 04

Keep stove and sink apart on the counter.

  5. 05

Cook facing light, with the exhaust on.

  6. 06

Keep the fridge out of the sun.

  7. 07

Eat at a clear table that does not face the toilet door.

  8. 08

Desk: even light, a wall behind you.

  9. 09

    Keep the bathroom dry.

  10. 10

Run the exhaust. Fix leaks before you buy a charm.

  11. 11

Light the entrance you actually use.

  12. 12

Use a doormat. Dirt stays outside.

  13. 13

Put the sofa on a solid wall.

  14. 14

Mirrors: not facing the bed, not facing the toilet.

  15. 15

    Live plants, not dusty ones.

  16. 16

A water bowl only if you clean it.

  17. 17

Heavy storage on a solid wall.

  18. 18

    Lamps beat colour charts.

  19. 19

    Open the sunniest morning window.

  20. 20

    Ignore toilet-doom copy and pyramids.

Named conflicts, left in the open

Teachers disagree. That is normal. This site will not flatten them into one fear. Where the books split, we say so.

Sleep

Brihat Samhita 53.124 is one voice. Vishnu Purana and later peers also speak of east and south. “Head only this way or else” is a school, not a verdict.

Kitchen

Brihat Samhita prefers fire in the south-east. Manasara allows north / north-east kitchens. Apartment-safe: do not demolish to join a side.

Desk

Classical material on desks is thin. Face light. Sit with a wall behind you. That is enough.

Toilet

Some schools want north-west; others warn about south-south-west. A dry, closed, exhausted room beats a compass argument.

Dining

Schools disagree on facing. A clear table that does not stare at a toilet is the useful overlap.

Children

“Kids must not sleep in the south-west” is fear-copy. Give them the quiet room with a solid headboard.

Short answers: FAQ.

Open the sunniest window in the morning. That habit is older than the catalog, and it does not need a footnote.
